Quality Control System
Quality control from raw material to competed products
EPS Liners / IN-MOLD Liners
For every lot the IQC team will extract the samples at random in case of quality, weight and testing. To make sure the EPS liner has been produced with right density, it is necessary to weight the samples selected at random and perform the in-house testing. Then write down the result of all controls and keep record.
PC Shells
Control the color, graphics registration, material forming and weight requires to extract samples selected at random. Especially on weight process to extract 1pc from 20pcs of formed shell, if the lots fail the QC team will check all the EPS liner, identify and discard all the defective samples.
Straps / Webbing
Extract 10pcs at random for each lot, to verify the texture of the selected straps in case of length and width to check its tolerances. The most important process is assemble the webbing on one of helmet and perform the retention system test and roll-off test in according to EN 1078 Standard.
Strap Anchor
Extract 10pcs at random for each lot, to verify the integrity of the anchor with cutting the samples by cutter to check the inside of section, it should be without air bubbles.
Buckle
Extraction of samples in case of integrity, visual correspondence, to check the proper functionality of buckle with opening and closing, the most importance process is testing, to assemble the webbing on one helmet and perform retention system test in accordance of EN 1078 standard.
Visors, Fit System
To check the visual correspondence on visors with the technical specification and verify the proper functionality of fit system with opening and closing the wheel.
All incoming components after IQC procedure will have the corresponding Record Keeping with writing down all results of control managed by a quality assurance system.
Assembly
All the members of production team have the clear instructions of each model specification in order to detect the errors coming from the previous manufacture phase, for sure the defective item could be re-worked or discarded. For every lot (model and size) of finished helmets, to extract samples to verify all components specified in the technical specifications, such as visors, pads, labels, package, etc. Final inspection before shipment, The QC staff will write down the results of all the controls and record them on the paperwork for finished products.
